About Madison

Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Madison is a medium-sized dog. She weighs approximately 60 pounds. We took her from a neighbor who would leave for days, sometimes weeks at a time. She was left outside with no shelter, on a chain, with little to no food and water. We were told she was outside because she is aggressive about food. They have other dogs inside their home that they also leave. When we brought her to our home, we first were going to have her be an outside dog. But, the neighbors said she is housebroken (which she is) and crate trained (which she is). So, we decided to give it a try especially with the frigid temps we were about to have. She did exceptionally well with the crate and potty. We have other dogs and she does NOT like them being any where near her. We also have young kids. She is beginning to show aggression toward them. So, at this point we are going to rehome her. She needs a home with no kids or older kids. She needs a home with no other dogs. She does enjoy walking on a leash, so she would make a good companion for someone who takes walks or runs. Please help us by taking her to be your fur buddy.
