About Nora

Thanks!****** Nora is a year old, and we are guessing she is a whippet mix. She is a leggy girl of slight build, and so happens to be about 10 pounds under weight, she is only a little over 30 pounds right now. We were a little stunned to meet her, we thought she would be a smaller dog with that weight, turns out she just doesn't have any meat on her bones! Well, Nora is happily making up for lost time and loves her meals and snacks. She had been shut down at the shelter, they took great care of her but often a dog cannot acclimate to the busy life in a kennel situation. So, here she is with us and has done terrific. Nora has certainly come out of her shell and loves to run and play with her new buddies(especially CookieDough the Cattle Dog) Cookie is the one that truly helped Nora let down her guard and get her silly on-lol. They are best pals. Nora is also very loving towards people, she is a hugger and a kisser, and just wants to be by our side. Although she has her rowdy side, Nora is very lady like and sweet. She is polite with the other dogs, never pushy over toys, meals or bedding. She is also housebroken. Nora is just a year old and will do well in an active home preferably with another active dog. She needs plenty of TLC to help her to continue to build confidence, so long hours alone will not be best for Nora.
