About Gizmo

Let me introduce myself. My name is Gizmo. I am 7 months old and live in Chicago, IL. Some call me Gizzy, some call me Mo, but most just call me handsome. I am part Ewok and part Gremlin, although earthly humans say I am half Yorkie and half Shih Tzu. My Ewok side is intelligent and my Gremlin personality makes me mischievous and quite shy. It takes me a while to warm up to new people so my new home will have to be patient with me. Once I trust you I expect plenty of back rubs. So far I have not met a cat, nor kids, but I would probably be nervous around a lot of loud noises. I will do well in a quieter house so it's best if I just say not to the Kardashians right now-just too much drama for me! I probably won't get much bigger and don't need tons of exercise, but do love to take long walks with my foster mom. Having a yard sounds fun, but my foster mom says it definitely needs to be fenced in as I still get scared and flee sometimes. As you can see from my photograph, I am a redhead, which is pretty darn desirable if I do say so myself. My underbite would make an orthodontist cringe; however I think it makes me cute. Do not take my man card away because I like to pee like a girl. I just squat and go. Potty training is still a work in progress. My foster mom calls me a 'good boy' and gives me treats when I go outside. Toys are a must have, especially the squeaky ones. I like to carry them to my crate where I can play with them. During the day I stay inside my fence. My foster mom sleeps on the couch and I sleep on the floor next to her. I'm still a little too nervous to sleep right next ti a human, but if you have a furry brother or sister for me to snuggle that would be great! I still need to be fully vetted so that will need to be arranged at time of adoption. My adoption fee is $600.
