About Gloria

Gloria is a sweet five-year-old female Beagle that was recently returned to our shelter through no fault of her own. Beagles love to follow their noses and will wander off wherever the wind sends them if not confined when they are outside. They are not a quiet breed and will bark at strange people and animals as they pass by your yard. You can't blame a dog for being a dog. We are looking for someone that will make Gloria part of their family and spend quality time with her. She is good with children over five and gets along well with other mature dogs. This dog loves being with people and would do best with someone that is home most of the day. Gloria gets lonely and bored when left for long periods of time. To avoid unwanted behavior like chewing on furniture, she should be crated or gated in a small room whenever you are away. She will happily entertain herself while you are away if you give her a few toys or chew bones. Gloria is already housetrained and will need a fenced in yard. Gloria is pretty easy to please and a joy to be around. She would enjoy keeping you company on your morning walk or sharing the couch with you while you watch TV.
