About Venus

Venus is a beautiful 2 year old blue and white Great Dane.�%A0 She is housebroken and crate trained, but still working on leash manners and will need a family that is willing to continue to work with her.�%A0�%A0 She is a little shy when she meets new people, but quickly warms up to them as long as her boundaries are respected.�%A0 Venus will come up to you when she is ready to be petted.�%A0 Once she has warmed up to you she loves attention and cuddles.�%A0 If she isn't getting enough attention she is happy to let you know by resting her head on your chest or sliding her head under your hand for petting.�%A0�%A0�%A0�%A0 Aside from being an extremely loving girl, Venus is very laid back.�%A0 She has done well with the foster family's cat and shows no interest in her.�%A0 Venus' hobbies include long naps on the couch or dog bed.�%A0 She does get the zoomies daily and enjoys running in the yard with her foster siblings. Her ideal family will have a fenced in yard and a dog sibling or two for her to play with. She is good with cats. Kids 8+ yrs old unless they've lived with a giant breed dog. Venus is currently in a foster home in Anderson SC. We do adopt out-of-state but require adopters to travel to the foster home to pick up. Out of respect for our foster family's time and privacy, we do NOT arrange meet and greets without an application on file. She is spayed and UTD on vaccines and heartworm prevention.
