About Gypsy

Location: Galena, Ohio AGE: 06/2017 (AGE 4 yrs est) Gypsy's foster just loves her. She is just a hoot to watch play. She turns herself in before she commits her crimes! So you will know if she starts chewing on something she isn't suppose to. She is definitely a chewing machine. No matter where the foster hides her shoes and boots Gypsy will go find them. The foster is working on that also. She will take them away from Gypsy and tell her they are a 'No Ma'am' and give her one of the many things her foster has for her to chew on. She loves being outside in the yard. She has learned that she can go in and out the doggy door. Her foster has to make sure she doesn't take the foster's shoes or boots out there. She's got to where when the foster says it's time for bed everyone heads back to the bedroom and she makes sure she's right up in the bed with her foster mom. Gypsy is very active and loves to play. She will do well with another large dog to play or someone who can give her a lot of attention. The foster thinks she will need to be with someone who is home and not left alone for long periods of time. The foster found her best and favorite chew toy, is a leather rein the foster had in the shed that was made into a large ball by weaving it in and out so she can toss it around and play with it! She's like a big kid when it comes to running down the hallway from outside she shakes the whole house it seems. She has really come out of her shell. The foster is working on her being so mouthy while playing. She doesn't mean to get rough but she does, and the foster has to redirect her by giving her something to put in her mouth and not let her try to chew on her foster. She is doing much better than before. The foster just tells her 'No Ma'am' and takes away her arm and she will usually stop now. That's why the foster believes she will do well with another dog that likes to play.
