About Luna

Adoption Fee: $100
Australian Shepherd
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

COURTEST POST When I rescued sweet Luna, she was 20 lbs overweight and had health issues. The shelter provided very little information. She is between 6-8 years old I have grown quite attached to Luna, she is such a sweet and gentle girl. I would love to keep her but I am wanting to do what is best for her. I am a single mom and cannot afford the testing that Luna may require as she is breathing heavily. It has improved quite a bit since she has taken some of the weight off. Luna is up to date on vaccines currently and on heart guard. She needs to be retested for heart worms just in case they have developed. I am a part of an Aussie group and mentioned her breathing issue and some experienced Aussie owners said that is normal with Aussie's with anxiety. Luna seems active and alert. The vet did not hear a heart murmur. Luna is good with cats. I have two and my Burmese loves her. Luna would do best with an older child 10 plus because of her anxiety. She needs to be slowly introduced to dogs. She will do best with a very mild-mannered dog, again her anxiety. Luna needs a fenced in yard, she isn't one who enjoys long walks. If you think that Luna is a good fit for your family, please email me at:[email protected] $100 re-homing fee to assure good folks with good intentions.
