About Ellie Mae

COURTESY POST Ellie Mae is in need of a home through no fault of her own as her owner has passed away and needs to find a home within 2 weeks. She got along with the other dog in the home but has fear based aggression outside the home (dogs, people, bicycles) due to lack of socialization. She is not good with cats. Ellie Mae is such a docile and sweet cuddler at home when she is with her own people. She is as sweet as pie. Although she did live with another dog in the home, she would be best suited as the only dog. She did well with the guinea pigs in her home, she didn't harm them (but frequently got into enclosure and licked them lol) . The perfect home for Ellie Mae would be an adult only home with no other dogs or cats. A home with very little foot traffic and lots of land where she will not have to worry about other people or animals and an owner that will be very patient with her to adjust. She has been through so much losing her owner and just needs a soft place to land where she will be loved.
