I got Lincoln at the Lake County Animal Shelter about two years ago, and he was four years old, so he is about six now. When I first got him we were doing a 'home test' and I thought that went fairly well (he had stayed with us about a month), but as soon as I officially adopted him his behavioral problems begain to show. He LOVES to chase cats, I believe he thinks it's a game, but it's not a game that me or my kids enjoy. When cats are not around he is a joy to be around! I have a two year old that can flop all over Lincoln, stick his face or his hands near Lincolns mouth and all he does is lick my son all over! It's such a great thing to see in a dog. The only issues we have are the cats, and that he likes to dart out the door anytime it's open. I really feel like he would do great with a family with kids in a LARGE yard, or in an apartment where he cannot escape out of the door. He loves to cuddle and hug and loves to receive pets. He has a lot of love to give!
