Look at those eyes! Petey stares deep into your eyes, convincing you to walk a bit farther, share more of your treats and keep petting him. This playful boy is a 4-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix. We`re not sure what he`s mixed with but he inherited a gorgeous caramel-and-licorice brindle coat, bright white chest badge, and fabulous brush tail curled high and happy. Petey is very smart and learns quickly. He walks well on leash. He loves to play with toys, with people, and can happily entertain himself. He needs to meet any other canine buddies. To fully enjoy play time with you and others, Petey needs a fully fenced yard. This young boy will wiggle into your heart quickly - he does the dancing butt shimmy when massaged, enjoys hugs and wiggles with joy, and doesn`t chase food - he`s patient to be fed. He's been at the shelter long enough that the volunteers are all in love with him and really want to him to find a forever home. http://clatsopcounty.animalshelternet.com/adoption_animal_details.cfm?AnimalUID=227637 Pet meet and greets are by appointment only, so if you'd like to meet her, submit an application in advance by going to the shelter's Adopting a Pet page at https://www.co.clatsop.or.us/animalcontrol/page/adopting-pet.
