About Rosie

Hello my name is Rosie and I'm looking for my new home. I was pulled from a kill shelter and was very shut down and scared while in the shelter. I am still a little shy of new people and things but I have came a long way, In the time I have been in foster home, I have become more confident and become a wild child in a good way. I run thru the house and love to play with squeaky toys and hoard them all in my crate. My foster mom calls me a toy hoarder! I like to have your attention and will lay with you and lay beside you once I feel comfortable which may take a little while. I am crate trained, house trained and great with all dogs and cats. Initially when Rosie came into rescue she had to be carried because she would just freeze at the site of a person. I was left to come and go and after a few weeks I began to warm up with tail wags which turned into nudges and eventually into me peeking around corners. My perfect home would be one with a fenced in yard because I become scared at anyone new that comes into the home. A home where I have my own safe space to gather my toys and sleep. Someone who is extremely patient and willing to allow me to warm up at my own pace. I'm truly just a silly, goofy girl who has had a hard life and so worthy of love and attention.
