About Archer

Name: Archer is my name. Best Trick; Hard to choose, I have so many. In my first photo in this set I'm doing my 'sit pretty' trick. Pretty right? Other Tricks/Skills? Yes! I got tricks coming out of my ears! That's just a figure of speech, but you know what I mean. I know 'sit pretty' and your average 'sit' too. I also know speak, shake, spin, down/stay, look at me. Plus 'come here Archer'. And 'around' (to go around an object) and kinda knows heel , but needs consistent training to get it down pat. Doggleganger: The Volunteer thinks I look like that mystery solving mutt who rides in that groovy van. *catches his rufflection in the water bowl* Jinkies, I do sorta favor him: Breed: I'm not actually a Marmaduke or Scoob dog, I'm a mix of German Shepherd & Boxer. Age/Weight: I tip the scales at 80 pounds and might still grow a bit as I won't reach one year old until January 13th. Yep, in a couple of weeks I'll need a party. Basic yet Important Stuff: I'm vaccinated, neutered and negative for heartworms, so no known health problems. I'm not microchipped yet, but my new owner should get that done immediate. It's the best way to find me if ever lost. Favorite Actor: I don't watch much TV, but I'm going with John Ham or Kevin Bacon. You really can't go wrong with having a pork product as a last name. Cool! Good with dogs? I have been an only dog since I left my litter mates, so you'll need to make sure I get along with any current dogs via a neutral meet up spot. Good with kids? Yes Good with cats? C-what's? I never met this Kat thing you speak of. So again, I'd need to be tested. House/crate trained? Ohhhh, another c-word that I wish I didn't know. I'm not a fan of the crate, but I am house trained. My owner says the crate wouldn't be too bad if I didn't have to stay in it soooo often. Temperament? The outside world does give me the willies, so I am more of a homebody. My current owner is really hoping a patient family can work on my social skills and my anxiety with new experiences. I need a family who doesn't have to crate me so much and has more time to spend with me. Wish List? I asked Santa for confidence because my current owner says I could use some. I don't think he delivered it! What color would confidence be and I'll check under the tree? Favorite Game? Fetch. We also Incorporate the tricks with fetch. I love it! Favorite treat? Chicken Favorite toy? Squueeeeekers! Favorite rub zone? The belly of course! My chest and this one spot behind my shoulder.
