About Simba

Meet Simba. ��|%81 Simba is 5 years old and was born on December 2nd, 2016. Living in Colbert, WA. He is 3/4 Anatolian Shepherd and 1/4 Great Pyrenees. I have had Simba since he was 8 weeks old. Simba has been a wonderful dog and this breaks my heart to do. Simba is absolutely terrified of our 18 month old and growls if she comes anywhere near him. He has acted a few times like he might bite her but has not done so (yet). It is not a risk I am willing to take. Simba also has started to butt heads with our older German Shepherd, he growls at him and has lunged at him once. Simba gets along great with our little dog and has had no issues with him, I think it's just a matter of battling for alpha with our German Shepherd. Simba is excellent with older children, and has been friendly with every other person he's ever met. I am not sure how he will do with cats, as he has not spent much time around them. Simba loves to lay in the sun and would spend all day outside if you let him. He loves to run and bark and is a very happy, easy going dog. He couldn't care less about toys but he LOVES treats. One of the things I really like about Simba is he is not an 'in your face' dog. He likes to be petted but he doesn't lick or invade your space. He is perfectly content laying near you, but not too close. He has only gotten on our couch twice which is another perk (especially with all that hair). I could go on and on about all the wonderful qualities that Simba has, and will be happy to share funny stories and quirks with anyone interested. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, and knows basic commands. He is also kennel trained and would come with his kennel.
