About Mabel

Mabel is a very sweet and gentle girl. She LOVES to snuggle! She was at risk of being euthanized at our local animal control due to her age and heartworms, so we took her in. We're working with a behavioralist for the next 4 weeks to help her overcome her shyness with strangers and we're also getting her to the end of her heartworm treatment. So, come February 12th she will be a healthy, happy, well rounded snuggle bug! Mabel doesn't beg, jump, bark, or lick. She has gently walks up to you asking for cuddles with her big puppy dog eyes. She takes treats very gently and has no food aggression at all. She's pretty low energy, her idea of playing is spinning in a little circle and then rolling over for belly rubs �����%8F Mabel is very good on a leash, loves walks, and is very food motivated. She's a fast learner and knows 'sit,' 'lie down,' 'touch,' and 'all done.' As much a she loves a snuggle she's got great manners and will go lie down a soon as you say 'all done.' So if you're interested in being a forever home for this well mannered snuggle bug please contact me! We would love to see her healthy and happy in her forever home. As much as we love her we just don't have the time and space to care for her long term.
