About Archie Brewster

Archie was transferred from an open admission facility because we wanted to give him a second chance at a first class life! He loves toys and loves to run, even though he is out of shape from apartment living. Archie would benefit from a family who is active and has time to spend with him. His heritage is a bit of a mystery, but we believe he has some spaniel in his background. Archie has a handsome red and white coat and is only 43 pounds, so he wiggles into the medium size category. He lived for 4 years with a family, so he does well with adults and older children. He has not been around younger ones, but is good natured. What we do know is that Archie has a deep seated aversion to cats, and hasn't changed his stance on that in four years. Although he has done well with dogs his size, we suspect that he would not do well with small dogs. He walks on a leash, is well behaved and housebroken. Archie (other than the cat thing) is an amazing dog who just needs the right family to love him forever. Neutered, microchipped, current on core vaccines and tested negative for heart worms, Archie is biding his time waiting for you.
