About RJ

Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue. Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia. All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, and a home visit. Our Adoption fee is $395.00. All our dogs are completed vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. We are currently accepting applications for RJ. RJ is approximately 2-3 years of age. He was found, dumped and abandoned in the middle of a 600-acre farm in Oklahoma. RJ does well with all adults, children and plays well with female dogs. He shows dominance over other male dogs. We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard, a family who has at least one member that is a stay-at-home or works from home, or another playmate fur-sibling, preferably a female for RJ.
