About Nila & Lizzy in KY

Pug / Jack Russell
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

**Courtesy Post** Nila and Lizzy in Shephardsville, Kentucky: These two fur babies will make wonderful companions! Nila and Lizzy are a bonded pair of females and need to stay together. Their owner recently died from Covid and we're trying to rehome them. They were well cared for, much loved and slightly spoiled. They are wonderful dogs, and I can't think of anything negative except Lizzy gets out of the (temporary) fence regularly and Nila has anxiety issues. They are such happy little girls, they will bring MUCH joy to their forever home. Nila is a pug mix and weighs 25 pounds. She's around 5 years old. She has some anxiety issues and is very attached to Lizzy. Lizzy is a Jack Russell mix that weighs about 15 pounds. She's less than 2 years old. She is very bright and playful. She depends on Nila for security. They have their shots and are heartworm negative, currently on heartworm preventative. They have both been spayed. They haven't offered to bite or be unfriendly at all. I have another dog and 5 cats in the house. Nila and Lizzy play with the dog and they don't pay any attention to the cats (unless they're playing and a cat scurries out of the way, then it's just fun to chase that kitty for a minute). They aren't trying to kill the cats, but I wouldn't leave them alone with the cats just yet, in case things were to get out of control. Nila & Lizzy are very affectionate and love to snuggle. They are both house broken and crate trained. Nila has issues with crating because of her anxiety but does fine when it's necessary to crate her. They rarely require crating unless we need them confined for a short period of time. I'm asking for a $100 adoption fee for the pair because I've personally covered all vetting expenses for them and want to ensure they go to a good, loving home. Anyone applying to adopt must have a securely fenced yard and good vet references. I plan to continue fostering until they go to a forever home. I have had them vetted, vaccinated, heartworm tested (negative), and spayed. For more information or to apply to adopt, contact Nila and Lizzy's owner at [email protected] and an adoption application will be emailed to you.
