About Bruno

Bruno is a 4 year old purebred American Bulldog. Very unfortunate circumstances has been having to do the unthinkable - find him an new loving home and it tears me apart. I've recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, and I struggle. My body just physically take care of him like he needs. And I'm a single mom - so no spouse to help. Bruno was the runt of the litter. His mother died at birth from mastitis. But he is roughly 85lbs of muscle. He is smart and knows basic commands, is house trained and was kennel trained (however he no longer tolerates being contained) He loves to cuddle and get belly rubs. He is also good on a leash. His favorite game is keep away. He enjoys chewing on a good bone or antler, and gets absolutely ecstatic to go for a car ride. He has always good with kids, but still barks aggressively at anyone he doesn't know. . No issues with men. We had another male bulldog, they generally got along but would often fight. A female dog would probably be best. He is also very much a dominant alpha and can be stubborn (its the breed.) He can get food, water and toy aggressive. We also have two cats and Bruno loves them, especially the female. He has no health issues, or separation anxiety, he is not even bothered by storms or fireworks. He is a great dog, but he deserves so much better right now. If I could find someone to foster him until I'm able to give him what he needs, I'd even consider that. But it will be at least 6 months until my health is back on track. More information and loads of photos available upon request.
