About Angus

Sweet, loving, loves belly scratches on the couch, playful, requires a lot of attention, mild aggression issues. Food aggression, doesn't like when you walk past or touch him (even graze him while walking by) while he's eating. Shows aggression when he has treats such as pig ears, imitation rawhide, bones, etc. Certain toys, ones he has as favorites can also be an issue. If he is told to do something he doesn't want to do he will try to bite if you touch him. Most likely abused by a woman in his last home because he is very nervous with me and not with my husband. Not good with other dogs at first, but will warm up to them if given supervised time to do so. Was hand fed with high value treats for about a month to try and minimize food aggression, however I stopped when my hands kept getting cut up. (He does not have an issue with being hand fed, he is just not gentle). He has bitten but hasn't drawn blood. Would like for him to go to someone who can give him the attention and training he needs because I am incapable of doing so.
