Cora is an approximately 1-2 yo., 60 lbs. super sweet and awesome girl. She's a bit on the insecure and submissive side but has already gained more confidence while with us and is doing great. She loves to go on walks, play with toys and other friendly dogs once she has been slowly introduced to them. She can get overwhelmed easily so will need a friendly but not pushy play buddy. She has participated in shelter play groups and has done well. We introduced Cora to our cats and she wasn't quite sure what to make of them and tried to avoid them. She might do well with very slow introductions to dog-savvy cats that are independent and won't run. Even though we don't have children at our rescue we think Cora's sweet and friendly temperament would make her a great family dog including younger and respectful children. Cora seems to us like a lab/shepherd and some pittie mix. She loves the water and we'd say her main characteristics are that of a lab. She's happy-go-lucky, super friendly with everyone (though shy initially), and just a wonderful dog. She'll benefit from continued training like all dogs but is really a very easy first-time dog owner kind of dog. She already walks well on leash, does great in her crate, is potty trained and knows basic commands. Anyone interested in Cora, please go to our website for an adoption application www.wallflowersshine.com/application. No meets are held without an application on file. Thank you.
