About Bootsie

Bootsie is an approximately 2 yo., 60 lbs. adorable and sweet girl. She was in a foster home before coming to Oregon and has done well with her foster siblings of similar size and energy. She is a more dominant female so should she go to a home with another dog we'd like to place her with a friendly, balanced male. She has done awesome with our balanced male pups here. We do not recommend small dogs or cats as she does have a prey drive. Bootsie is a super cool dog; completely potty trained, does well in her crate, walks well on leash and is a pleasure to have around. We think she'd do well with teenage children. Bootsie is the typical pittie in that she loves to run or go for walks, do her zoomies, but also lay with her people and snuggle. We do not recommend any of our dogs for dog parks as most do best with slow introductions to other dogs. Bootsie is very affectionate once she trusts you and will make a loving and absolutely wonderful companion. We've been working on general obedience with her and she's an extremely quick learner so it'll be easy to keep up on her training. Bootsie has been taken on several adventures by our volunteers and has been amazing. She adjusts quickly to any new situation, loves to wear her different little outfits, rides great in the car, and is overall super fun to do things with.
