About Merlin

Hi, I'm Merlin! I am a 3-year-old 15-lb. rat terrier, and I'm SO hoping to find my forever home! Now, it can't be just any ol' home. It needs to come with a very patient person who can take things slow because getting to know and trust new people is hard for me. Now that I trust my foster parents, I like being wherever they are, even in their bed! Sometimes I will give kisses and touch their faces with my paw. Snuggling up to a person is new for me, but I think I like it! There are other new things that I'm starting to enjoy--things like playing with other dogs and taking walks on a leash. One of my favorite things is running around outside in the fenced yard. I hope you'll have one of those. One new thing that I don't care about is a cat, so you won't need to have one of those! If you have to go out, I'll be a good boy in the house--either loose or in a crate. I know potty business belongs outside. You can trust me.
