About Livia

Adoption Fee: $150
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Livia is a petite young tabby girl with bright beautiful eyes. She is very friendly and loving towards everyone she meets and is nearly always purring. We suspect she had a rough life before being rescued, but she is so happy to be safe and loved now. She trusts her foster family and is very playful, energetic and goofy. She loves her window seat and her favorite toys are cat tunnels and balls. Her ability to get along with all other cats young and old is amazing. Livia also loves dogs and everyday meows to come out and play with her foster family's large dog. She would be happiest with another dog or cat, but would do well on her own with enough enrichment. She is clean and uses the litterbox well but is still learning some things about being an inside cat, mainly not splashing her water around. She has a developed a bad habit of charging the door and sometimes gets outside. While this is not a huge worry where she's at now because she came from just outside of her foster home, but we worry that in her new home she would get lost outside. It is imperative that the new home has double doors/storm door and no way for her to get outdoors accidentally or for her to sneak out. All cats are at least 8 weeks old at time of adoption, are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, microchipped, vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies - if at least 16 wks old), and given a starter dose of flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee applies. Adoption application, interview, and home check required to be considered for adoption. No declawing policy and indoor homes only. If interested, please apply at www.rescueangelssomd.com. If pet is listed, he/she is still available.
