About TREVOR

This handsome little man is Trevor! He is a 3-4 month old, 9 pound Chihuahua mix puppy who came to us out of a hoarding situation. Based on his current weight we believe he will be 12-15 pounds fully grown. Trevor is an outgoing playful little pup! He may be small, but he has a big personality. He enjoys toys, and loves to play, explore, and do zoomies with the other dogs in the house. He gets along great with kids and loves to play in his person's lap and on the couch where he will jump for kisses! When playtime is done, Trevor loves to take naps snuggled up next to his person or curled up in the dog bed with the other dogs in the house. He's not a big lap dog, but he definitely likes to be near his person and with them in the same room. At night he sleeps in a doggy bed in his foster family's bedroom. He also loves to sleep with his foster family under the covers. We think he would do fine as an only dog with a family where he gets lots of attention, but he would definitely prefer to be in a home with an energetic furbrother or sister. Trevor likes to be outside and is currently working on his potty training and leash training. The only thing is if he doesn't want to come to you, he wont! You can't reach down and pick him up either. He dances around and away from you. His foster mom waits until he jumps up in a chair and picks him up from there. He doesn't try to get away when he is in the chair. Silly puppy! Trevor is very puppy curious so we highly recommend investing in a puppy pen to keep him safe and out of trouble when he cannot be supervised. He has been to the vet for a wellness check, had all three sets of his puppy shots, is fecal tested and wormed, and has been microchipped with a lifetime registration. His neuter, rabies vaccine, and any residual baby teeth that need to be removed will be scheduled at one of our vets when he is 6 months old. Because he has pending vet appointments he is only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. No exceptions will be made to this rule.
