Rambo came to us from a hoarding situation where he had lived in a bedroom and rarely saw the light of day until he came into rescue. He is around 3 years old and was VERY scared and traumatized and progress initially was pretty slow. He can now be handled by his foster mom and did well being handled also at the vet - however we know it will definitely take time in a new home. He would do well with at least one other well balanced dog in the home who can teach him the ropes. He is learning to walk on a leash, and does well going potty outside with regular access (every couple of hours) so would be best with a dog door (still will take time to learn) OR someone home most of the time. He does also use potty pads. He does pretty well in a crate though also is not destructive. He has been neutered, vaccinated, chipped, dewormed and heartworm/tick fever tested. He will require a very patient adopter who will allow him to come around on his own schedule and will understand that there will be potty accidents until he gets the new routine down. He is not a lap dog yet but is beginning to enjoy it more. Rambo is 11-12 lbs. Playing outside is his favorite thing in the world so he needs to have a yard.
