Beau is a purebred mini-Australian Sheperd. He is on the large size at 47lbs. He turned 5 in October. He should be with a home that has another dog or two. He also likes cats. He was in a car accident with me and as a result he developed anxiety. It has made him leash aggressive. He feels the need to be proactive and lunge at people and things such as bikes, motorcycles, and cars when on a leash. Due to that accident, I can no longer take him out for the frequent outdoor hikes that he needs. He requires exercise outside of the residential setting due to the anxiety issues. He would also do great with a farm or ranch, a lot of room to run. If you cannot give him this type of exercise, he is not the right dog for you. I am trying to see if there may be the right person out there that can get him back to a happier active quality of life. Aussies are high energy that thrive on outdoor exercise. He is quite mellow in the house. He is trained and very sweet. He does like kids but developed a weird quirk with long hair on girls. He started to grab it so is unpredictable.
