About Tinka

Hi everyone! My name is Tinka. I'm a 10-year-old Min-Pin mix with the heart and energy of a much younger dog. I love running fast, playing with toys, squirrel watching, taking walks, and snuggling on the couch with my foster parents. I would make a wonderful sous chef. I always help in the kitchen, and I make a great taste-tester or floor cleaner. Since coming into Sophia Grace's Rescue, I had a dental surgery, was spayed, and I got some great allergy medication to help with my sneezing. I developed several malignant mammary tumors, but they were caught early, and a nice doctor removed them. I am only on allergy medication now, and I'm fully recovered from my surgeries. I have a big, fenced yard with my foster family, and I would love to have the same in my forever home. The fence lets me run fast and play and chase birds (I've never caught one) and sit and squirrel watch. My favorite place in the yard is under the big pine trees where the squirrels make lots of noise. I can sit for hours and watch them and all of the other wildlife in the yard. I like going for walks too, but I do run a lot on my walk and I'm learning how not to pull on the leash or zig zag around the other dogs until we are all tangled. Speaking of other dogs, I love all dogs. There are lots of little dogs in my foster home. I am respectful and sweet with all of them. I would love a fur sibling who wants to play with me. Did I mention I love to play? I also live with teenagers, and I'm really good with them and their friends. I'm a little shy until I get to know you, but once I know you are safe, then I would love to lick your hand and sit with you on the couch. I sleep in my own bed in my foster parent's bedroom. I love soft blankets and pillows, and I look really cute all tucked in for bed. I sleep through the night, and I wait patiently for breakfast and dinner. I'm crate trained, but I don't use it much anymore. I am perfect when left alone in the house, and I'm completely potty trained. I only have a few teeth left, so I love my food softened, and I love all treats. I even jump straight up high when it's treat time. I will be your best friend in the kitchen. I love hanging out when it's time to cook, you know, just in case something falls, or you want me to be your taste tester. I also know the commands sit, stay, and come. My foster mom said I listen beautifully, and I'm a super smart little girl. I can't wait to meet and love my furever family.
