About Bast, #party-boy

Bombay / Domestic Cat
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Male

Hi, I'm Bast, a super-playful, people-friendly, and loving black DSH/ Bombay mix fella who was born in September 2021. I'm a 'pool kitty' who, along with Nesh, Maia, and Cleo, was found with our mama Maat at a community pool; I'm the one with the sleek black patent-leather coat. I'm the litter's big, gentle giant who's sweet and easy-going yet confident. Bombay mixes are often called Velcro cats because we love to stick close to our humans. Yes, I'm outgoing and demonstratively affectionate with my foster family; I luxuriate when they pet me! Of course catnip mice, balls with bells, and wand toys entrance me. Most of all, I love to play with my littermates - especially Nesh - as we zoom around the foster room chasing each other. When I'm all tuckered out, I crash in my foster meowmy's lap to re-charge my batteries. I may be rambunctious, but heh, what do you expect from a kitten? At the same time, I can enjoy chilling out alone; my favorite spot is a patch of sunlight on the window sill so I can observe all the birds and lizards outside. Arrange to meet me today! Experience for yourself my dichotomy of being laid-back as well as ultra-playful. Since we're so bonded, our foster meowmy has decided that Nesh and I can only be adopted together. This way we will keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation. Please don't be superstitious of black cats! You know, Groucho Marx once said, 'A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere.' Buster's Friends makes a concerted effort to rescue black cats and kittens from shelters because they are five times more likely to be euthanized than any other color of cat. However, many people who have had a black or Bombay mix cat before end up adopting another one because they seem to have such wonderful personalities and are emotionally stable and well balanced. Bast is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No declawing allowed. His adoption fee with Nesh is $225 for the bonded pair. An online adoption application must be filled out prior to adoption. Texas applicants only. https://www.bustersfriends.org/cat-adoption-application. Several of our cats can be seen at the following adoption venue 7 days a week any time the store is open: PetSmart #1780 (Heights), 1907 Taylor St. (@ I-10); 77007; (713) 863-0533
