About Gulliver

Corgi / Australian Cattle Dog
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Gulliver, aka GULLY is your guy if you are looking to add a fun, affectionate boy to your pack. This 1 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi Heeler mix is tons of fun and go, go go, but also has an 'off switch'. . Very dog friendly and loves his weekly doggy playgroup visits. His expressive face and perky ears remind you he loves happy human interaction. Gully will thrive in a home that will build his confidence, so we are recommending families that have a young at heart dog looking for a playful companion (no small dogs, please). Tug of war is an absolute must and he enjoys chasing a ball. Great at sharing his toys with doggie friends. He can be sensitive to scolding, loud noises, and unexpected schedules so we recommend no young children at this time. Gully is not a big barker, but uses his voice when he is unsure of noises, to let other dogs know 'I'm HERE' and to let you know he needs to go out to potty. Not destructive inside or outside, but would do best crated when left alone for short periods of time. House trained when let out in a timely manner. Sleeps through the night. He is adjusting to riding in the car, so if this is your next adventure buddy remember short trips will help him acclimate. Only homes with a fenced yard, to ensure he can have space to be a 'dog, where he won't be left alone for long hours will be considered. No cats for this guy please. Learning to walk on leash without pulling - he just gets excited to explore and wants to go. Due to his chicken allergy, he needs dog food with salmon or another form of protein. He is ready to 'GO, Go, go' to his forever home. So get your application submitted for him! Gully is 40 lbs. neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and current on prevention. *In addition to his adoption fee, there is a $150 transport fee to bring this boy to the Colorado
