About Chief

This dashing fellow is Chief. Chief was surrendered to us a few months ago due to the owner's spouse passing away and since the owner was elderly she could not keep up with Chief's energy. She said that Chief is 3 years old and a purebred German Shepherd but she didn't have any papers for him. He was previously owned by a fellow in the military and that Chief had training. Chief turned out to be heartworm positive. He has had all his treatments and is ready for his forever home. Chief is currently up to date on his vaccines, micro-chipped and has been neutered. He seems to like the ladies the most but that could be because we only have girls that work in the kennels. He likes it when they get in the kennel and snuggle with him. Chief has spent some time with our managers dog that uses a wheel chair and they get along great playing in the yard. Our doctor has also taken Chief on a run along a local walking trail and he did great keeping up with her. He loves to go to the local ice cream shop and get a little ice cream.
