If so, these things may bother other dogs - but not Nia! That is because her heart is soooo LARGE and her potential for love is soooo UNCONDITIONAL, and also because'|well'|she is a little hard of hearing. So don't you worry, off-key singing, snoring, sleep talking nor loud music will not stop Nia from giving you all the love she can give'|she will have you just as you are! As you can see in her profile pics, Nia is a gorgeous white chihuahua with beautiful brown markings, and she is at the fine age of 15 years old. Nia has had only one owner all of her life who had to surrender her due to travel, so now she is looking for nothing but the real-deal, for her true 'furever' home. Even though Nia is of a mature age, she does LOVE her squeaky toys and playing fetch with a small tennis ball (so do keep these around)'|but she will only play with these when she feels like it. Nia also loves curling up and napping in soft fuzzy blankets, and absolutely loves receiving neck rubs while giving you doggie kisses. But what is probably her most favorite thing is being in close proximity of her person - which could be you! Nia is not a needy, in-your-face type of dog, but she will happily shadow you as you move from room to room and may whine oh-so-slightly if she cannot find you. With Nia's maturity, does come wisdom and experience: Nia is patient with other dogs, she is good on a leash and in a car, she is fully housebroken, she knows how to use a doggie door, and she knows commands such as 'come,' 'sit,' 'down,' and she even knows how to 'high-five''|but only when she feels like it! Nia is also a quiet dog. She never barks at other people, other dogs, not even the doorbell'|but she may bark at inanimate objects, such as a bush, a cactus, or even a statue while she goes on her walks'|and that is only because she has some cataracts in her eyes (which is normal for her age) and may have trouble seeing small details in things when it is too dark or too bright outside. So always be around her if you let her off-leash in your backyard, for example. By the way, Nia loves being in the backyard'|she likes to explore and wander (again she must always be attended) and even sunbathe if you have patio furniture. So a small backyard would be ideal if you have one! Oh wait! The only other time she may be quite vocal is when you first come home. When you first walk through the door, she may bark at you and whine'|probably because she's tiffed that you left, or probably because she missed you oh-so much. But don't worry, after a few minutes this dissipates and she's back to loyally following you around from room to room. If Nia sounds like the right companion for you, and if unconditional love and day-to-day joy is your thing, then don't be shy---please apply: https://azsmalldog.org/adoption-form/
