About Ally and Mala

Ally and Mala have everything you could want in an a pair of German Shepherd dogs. They are friendly with people of all ages. When we first met these gorgeous sisters in their back yard, they came right up to us ready to make new friends. Mala grabbed a tennis ball and was just waiting for us to throw and play fetch. Ally saddled up and was looking for some attention and maybe a treat. Both girls are house trained and comfortable in a crate when no one is home. At night when it's time to go to sleep, they will easily curl up in their crate or a comfortable corner. The past few months have been difficult on Ally and Mala. Both owners have passed away. Currently a family member is taking great care of Ally and Mala, but soon their home is going to be sold soon and they will need a new forever home. Mala does have EPI but it has been manageable for many years. Simply add a supplemental powder on her food and wait 20 minutes before feeding. Both girls are spayed and have otherwise a clean bill of health. In general Ally and Mala will ignore other well behaved dogs and do not mind other dogs when going on walks. They are respectful around children and have spent many an afternoon at large family gatherings. They would most likely do best in a home without other dogs as they have never lived with one. Ally and Mala are part of our owner referral program, but if necessary they will enter our foster program. Please note that both dogs are currently located in central Long Island which is outside our normal working area, so making arrangements to meet may take a little longer than normal.
