About Kobe

Kobe is a sweet, intelligent boy full of playful energy! He knows sit, stay, shake, lay down, 'no beg' & 'all done,' 'get out of the kitchen,' 'bring it here,' & can even open lever style door handles! He loves his frisbee & ball & will chase his tail when excited, which happens a lot! He absolutely adores being outside for walks, runs, bike rides, frisbee throwing sessions, or just working in the yard. He does have some anxiety & slight aggression issues. His aggression is around food & he will growl when approached with food in the bowl, but he has never, ever bitten or nipped anyone. His anxiety & GSD-esque desire to always know what is going on causes him to growl if a stranger approaches too quickly & tries to pet him. He whines almost constantly in the car but doesn't bark or get sick on car rides. He loves kids & adults when introduced properly. He has gotten along well with every dog he's ever been around, & has spent extended time with my parents' 2 female dogs & gets along great with them. He is due for his vaccinations. This may or may not happen before he is rehomed. He is an incredible dog who deserves the world, however we recently found out my daughter is allergic to his dander, & despite our best efforts to keep him groomed, it's in the GSD nature to shed. Therefore, we are heartbroken to have to rehome him. Please consider Kobe if you live an active lifestyle & are looking for an intensely loyal & intelligent boy.
