About Champ

Champ is a 3 year old, 20 lb Corgi/Jack Russell mix male. He is neutered and current on vaccines and heart worm prevention. He is also house and crate trained. Champ is a handsome little Co-Jack but he does not care for large breed dogs! He does like to rough house with the cats though. He also does not care for young children so we will be requiring that his new home have no kids or no children under 14. Champ loves his food, and going on runs or walks. He would make an excellent jogging or hiking partner since running is his very favorite thing to do! He takes time to warm up to new people so slow introductions are a must and food/treats are the way to his heart. When Champ was first rescued from the side of the road, he was scared and snappy. He's been fine since he was neutered. He does fine in a crate and he does fine in a vehicle but he does not like being in a crate in a vehicle so rescue transport is not an option. Please note that Champ is currently in a NEW FOSTER IN CARBONDALE CO. His new foster was able to temp test him with smaller dogs and he does great!
