About Toots

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Toots is a high needs rescue. She was seized from her owner in auburn Washington. Her first owner was a senior and sadly passed away a few years ago. The family surrendered her to the humane society where she was unfortunately adopted into the wrong hands. Her most recent owner is an active alcoholic who left toots in the car for days on end. It is believed that she and the dog lived in her car. When seized, toots was covered in her own urine and feces. She even had a nail growing into her paw pad. She has since had her mail taken care of and has been bathed. She is extremely nervous due to her abuse and neglect but is not a bite risk and she does not bark. She would do best in a home with adults only as I am unsure of her behavior with small children. We have been successful keeping her in a play yard with pee pads, but if she is let out to roam free in the home, she is not trained. It is highly encouraged that whoever rescues her be educated on training with seniors. She is being fostered by my grandmother in Dundee Oregon. Please contact me for more information.
