About Hippo

Meet Hippo! This long-timer has been at the shelter since April 2021. He is 4 years old and longing for a forever home. He needs an active, adult only home, with no other animals. Hippo has a lot of love to give! Do you want to give that love back? Hippo is a happy goof who doesn't know his own size and strength. Hippo is adult human friendly and is quite amenable to training (and very treat motivated!), but he needs someone willing to show him the ropes. Experience with powerful, energetic dogs and a fenced yard are musts. No young kids or other animals, please.
