About Heath

This six year old German shepherd has a beautiful coat, with an ebony face and ears and super-curly fur on his belly (he loves belly rubs). While Heath is a bit older, he loves to play and prance in the play yard with one of the large bouncy balls. He's also happy to hang out in the sun and watch the action. He plays for a bit, then comes to hang out and receive belly rubs and ear tickles. This guy is a true gentleman and seems to listen intently to whomever he's with, maintaining eye contact, and tilting his head when he's curious. Heath walks well on leash and knows some basic manners (sit, shake, looking gorgeous). Scroll to the bottom of the page for the application. Be sure to date it next to the signature line (applications are reviewed in the order they are received) and put the name of the animal you are interested in at the top. You can then save the application to your computer and email it to [email protected] or deliver it directly to the shelter. Application forms are also available on the front door of the shelter and can be filled out and turned in on the spot. A shelter staff member will review the app and call you to set up an appointment.
