About Minnie

Today we have a very special loving girl named Minnie who is looking for the perfect fit. She also answers to Mama. I am a 4-5 year old lab and coonhound mix. My foster mom has genetic results for me, and told me I am 50% labrador, 36.5% black and tan coonhound and 13.5% bluetick coonhound. I am about 65 pounds and a bundle of love that loves to sit with your arm around me. I am house broken, and crate trained but could use a little practice not pulling on a leash. I don't mind sleeping in my crate but LOVE to sleep in bed with my loved ones. I am Lyme positive, but have been treated and am not active! I have had some medical treatments this past year as well as some puppies. I am now spayed. I am ready to settle in and enjoy a cozy active life. I prefer to be the only dog to live in my home but do enjoy playdates with dogs my size or larger. I do not have any experience with cats. I am super loving of everyone, but due to my playfulness at times, I should only be allowed to play with older children. You should see me use my nose, because I can smell out almost anything! My foster mom says I am super smart and train well. We like to play search-it for treats hidden throughout the house. My biggest joy is love and attention. If you could give me belly scratches all day, I would sit there and give you lovey eyes. I have plenty of energy if you would like to run around as well. I want to run out all my energy because I am super fast! Please give me a home with a big fenced yard!
