About Gillespie

Meet Gillespie, a healthy, sweet, 2yo pit bull who is pure love. Gillespie was found as a stray with no training - but he has proven that he's very eager to learn and to please his humans. In under a week he's been potty trained, crate-trained, learned to ride calmly in cars, and mastered several basic commands (come, sit, down), with more in progress. He's also been neutered and chipped, and is fully vaccinated. It's been a busy week for this 75-pound boy. Gillespie is food-motivated and takes treats very gently. He walks well on a leash, and his favorite resting spot is next to you on the sofa. He's wonderful with people, he rarely barks, and he gets along with other dogs (he's been to doggie day care several times), but we haven't yet tested him around children, cats, or other animals. Unfortunately, he's not compatible with one of our current dogs, so we need to find him a more suitable home
