About Luna 911

Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

CAN BE KILLED AT ANY TIME - NEEDS A VIABLE, COMMITTED FOSTER OR ADOPTER ASAP!!! Putting this out with a Hail Mary somebody sees this and saved Luna. Please text Kat 516 457-3678 'WHAT DID I DO WRONG?' :'( Apparently healthy, Luna was surrendered to the Brooklyn shelter by her owner after living happily and successfully in the home since she was just a pup. Dumped at the shelter the day before Halloween because they were moving, they are looking to kill Luna now. At the shelter, former family pets are reduced to anxious behavior, barking and lunging which is likely due to them being stressed, fearful and confused about the scary changes that are happening in their lives. Human love and attention and help stopping the walls of those tiny kennels from closing in on them is the answer. So, yes, Luna, may not be her usual bubbly self right now. She needs a loving and understanding person right now to save her from the shelter and those walls, free her up to snuggle, play, run and bark because its what dogs do! Besides the adults, Luna lived with two children and two small dogs. She's said to always be gentle and respectful of the children, ages 3 & 4, and did well with the dogs as well. Luna does not have a bite history. Luna is a 3 year old dog who is use to being in her home with her family. Not caged up and surrounded by strangers and other terrified dogs and the scent of fear and death. You wouldnt be happy either. Luna needs out and she needs an experienced person ASAP or her only way out will be the back door in a garbage bag.
