About Clovis

Clovis is a poodle mix. He weighs 21.2 pounds. he is a non shedder. His hair is not curly, but it has been shaved off. He was so severely matted his ears were glued to his neck. We can't wait to see how gorgeous he will be in no time at all. Clovis was wandering a dump site for months. He had fleas and all kinds of debris in his coat. He also had tape worms. Many people tried to catch him but were unable. A trap was set but he was too smart for it. After a solid two months, he was finally caught. He has a broken tail that has healed on it's own. He had a broken canine that we have removed. He has no more worms or flees.. 'Clovis'' means to fight for survival. That's exactly what he had to do. Today he is sweet and loving but still a little leery at first, and should be considered a flight risk. We have not seen any people aggression, but he can get in an argument with another dog over food. He is gradually learning to be an indoor dog and is doing great with potty training. He has a very sweet sole. He seems much happier with canine friends around. Naturally we want to find the person that can offer Clovis a life of bliss that he has never known. Please have a fenced yard, and lots of time to spend with him. Clovis is neutered, chipped and UTD. We are asking $275 for his donation fee.
