About Tama

This is Tama (pronounced Tom-uh). He was born in March 2019. We unfortunately have had some behavioral issues (going after our smaller dog and resource guarding with food). We've recently had a baby, and while he has never shown any aggression towards our baby, we can't shake the fear of Tama demonstrating resource guarding when food comes into play around the baby. We have come to the heart breaking decision to find a better home for his particular needs. We feel that he needs to be in a home where he is the only dog, with no children, and in a home that understands his resource guarding and is willing to work with those issues. He has had basic training and knows the following commands: come, sit, down, shake, off, place, back, and easy. He loves to give kisses and play fetch with a frisbee.
