Sven is a one year old, 48 pound Blue Heeler. He is a social guy and loves everyone he meets. Sven has all of the breed characteristics of a Blue Heeler. He is extremely intelligent, resourceful, loyal, and high energy. Sven was found as a stray and ended up at an overcrowded Iowa shelter. From there he came into our foster home. We don't think anyone ever worked with him. He is eager to learn and please his people. Sven loves to have a job to do. He needs a family committed to raising and training him. He would love to attend a basic obedience class and move on to agility or flyball. Sven requires a physically fenced yard so he can get enough exercise fetching his toys. His person needs to be active and able to provide him enough exercise. Sven loves figuring out food puzzle toys and usually solves them quickly. Because he is a herding breed his new family should not have children under 10 years of age. Sven is house and kennel trained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped.
