Maria, along with her two sisters, was dumped along the side of a busy rural road in Western North Carolina in October. The girls were huddled together, confused and scared, when they were found and taken to safety. Maria's minor health issues have been treated; she's now close to eight months old and weighs about 33 lbs. Maria has been with a wonderful foster family in Greensboro NC for the past few months. This has given her a chance to adjust to living indoors and provided a strong foundation for her future development. Maria is inquisitive, attentive, affectionate, loving, and playful (as you'd expect!). She needs a play companion in her new home and a fenced yard is a must. Please contact us for more information and photos, or to arrange to meet Little Miss Maria! Note: We don't believe Maria is a TWC; she's more likely an American English Coonhound, for which there's no category to post under. Without DNA testing it's impossible to know for sure but her breed/mix should become clearer as she gets older.
