Layla is a female 18 mos to 2 yr old 55 lb Pitbull terrier/Retriever mix (parents unknown - stray). She is a free spirited semi energetic, farm/ranch gal that likes dogs but mistrusting of most people. It takes time to gain her trust. She is a home/yard dog that loves her food and a securely fenced yard. She was found as a stray with her litter of pups that have been raised and adopted.. She is a great ranch companion for someone looking for a dog to hang out while they do chores. Mixed Bully breed experience is recommended. She is an indoor /outdoor dog. She likes dog treats, toys and dog beds. No apartments or rentals. After we review your application we'll contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heartworm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. If the adoption fees seem high (which never cover the true cost of rescue), we recommend fostering for a good rescue. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters.
