About Ivory

This pretty girl is Ivory, a 3 year old 20 pound American Eskimo. Ivory is a shy girl who is just learning to like people and seek their attention. She was originally released from a breeder in Wisconsin and was in a home until her dad died. From there she came into our foster home. Ivory is slowly blossoming. She is learning how to be a normal dog from watching the other dogs in her home. Once Ivory is comfortable with her person she is very sweet and outgoing. Ivory likes to be by her person's side or at their feet for pets, not in a lap. Ivory needs another dog in her home so she has a buddy. Like all dogs who don't know how to be dogs she watches the other dogs in her home and models her behavior after them. She likes to run around the yard, chasing and playing with a dog friend. Ivory does not know how to walk on a leash and doesn't like to leave her home or yard, they are her safe spot. Ivory requires a fenced yard, so she can safely explore. She would love a calm house with someone willing to be patient with her as she adjusts to a new home and learns to love a new person. Ivory is house and kennel trained, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
