Intake Date: 19 Nov 2021 ----- Adopted: 8 January 2022 ------ Returned to Rescue 16 February 2025----- Age: 7-8 yrs ----- Breed: Dalmatian mix ----- Size: 40 lbs ----- Status: owner surrender ----- Compatible with: dogs, children, ignored the cats ----- Suitable for: home with fenced yard. Possible apartment with leash requirement and dog park nearby for unleashed exercise ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none major noted. ----- Additional Notes: Motley is as sweet as he is handsome. This little guy has been so good with the other dogs and everyone he has met at rescue. Unfortunately, his original family had allergies to him so he came to rescue to find his forever family. Then, he and another dog from FBS were adopted and Motley was returned due to 'moving' and only taking one pet. We saw him posted for rehoming on a local facebook page and reminded of our contract for return. Motley deserves a forever committed home. Motley was introduced to cats his first time at rescue and didn't seem to pay any mind but the cats don't run so we can't say how he would do if they were to take off. His last adoptive family does say he is cat friendly. He deserves a FOREVER home. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting, please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption can be finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175. All residents are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. A secure physically fenced yard is prioritized if a yard is present. Temperament cannot be and is not guaranteed.
