About Roxie

Roxie is a senior pit. They thought she was about 13 years old. I am currently fostering her and giving her lots of love and as much attention as I can. She is great with other dogs and cats. She came from a home where she was left at the house all day/night with someone to let her out about once a day. She craves love and attention and prefers to not be left alone. I have been working with her on sit commands and leash training. She is doing great. I work 7 days a week so I am not home as much as I would like for her. She would do amazing with someone who was retired or worked from home. And she would do great with kids. She loves the attention she gets from them. On the leash, she does not chase after other animals or people. If she see another person, she will try to walk towards them because she is it wants to meet them and get love from them. Roxie is a sweet dog. She is house trained. When I am at work, she has free reign of the house. She does need to be on a leash is you do not have a fenced in yard. If she is left outside alone without a fence, she will wonder.
