About Maui

*Phoenix Metro Area Only* Look at this sweet face! Maui is a 6-month-old rat terrier/chihuahua mix. He weighs about 5 pounds now and will be around 8 pounds when full grown. Maui likes to be the alpha male and likes to be in charge of everything (including any other pups in the home). He is a moderately active puppy who is playful, eager to please and affectionate, and loves to give puppy kisses! He loves to cuddle on your lap and will love you forever. Being a puppy, he will need obedience training and continued work to perfect his potty-training abilities. He would love a yard to play in but would also be happy in condo living with plenty of walks and exercise opportunities. Maui enjoys canine companions and we would prefer him in a home with another younger, playful dog to help guide him and burn off some of his puppy energy and a home where at least one person is home most of the time! He needs a home where humans will engage him in play and provide him with chew safe toys and teach him proper manners. Any children in the home should be at least 12 years old and of a kind, gentle nature. Maui is vet checked, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
