About Denny

Denny! Denny is an approx 3 yr old boxer mix who has had some bad luck and instability in his short life so far. We are hoping to finally find him his forever home with people who both love him for who he is and help him be his best self. Denny can be a bit anxious and overwhelmed in new environments, although he is definitely improving. His last family reported he did enjoy being outside and would benefit from a home with a secure, fenced yard. When taken for a leash walk Denny does very well on a leash. He historically has gotten along with other dogs but has had a few issues with one of the dogs in an adoptive home, so we are looking to place him in a home where he will be the only pet. He has lived with kids and overall done well with them, however due to an incident in his last home where he was startled and accidentally bit a child we will only be placing him with kids 14+. He absolutely loves the teenagers that work at Dog Town and we have never had an issues handling him at all. Denny is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on preventatives. We are willing to consider a foster to adopt situation for Denny with the right family, just to make sure it is a fit and to provide any transitional support we can. Interested?
